I specialise in sensitive, intimate narratives, the kind of stories that require care, cultural intelligence, and a director who understands ethics as much as aesthetics. I’m a trauma-informed filmmaker and practice harm-reduction on & off set.

I run most projects through my creator-led production studio, StoryTell-Her Studios, or work collaboratively within platforms, production companies and agencies.

  • I work as a freelance producer/director and on select fixed-term projects.

    I represent myself, which means I’m close to the work, the people and the process. I’m intentional about what I take on, choosing projects I believe in and teams I trust.

    My approach is collaborative, grounded and story-first. I often work across development, production and direction, shaping narratives from the earliest stages through to delivery.

  • My latest documentary, Saving Mum: Our Family Secret for Channel 4, previewed at BAFTA and had its national debut at the end of 2025.

    The film has been featured in publications including The Independent, The Guardian and Diet Paratha, and led to keynote speaking opportunities at the Houses of Commons.

  • Alongside producing and directing, I am evolving as an executive producer for creator-brand storytelling. I’m hands-on, I understand narrative structure and contributor welfare, and I know how to deliver to a brief without destroying what makes the content work. I know how to find the story inside a creator's life that audiences will actually believe and I know how to protect both the creator and the brand while telling it.
